Job Title: Assistant Site Manager – CH‑53 Contractor Maintenance Support (CMS)
Location: MCAS New River, Jacksonville, NC (On‑Site)
Clearance: Active SECRET required (indicate in resume)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (NON‑NEGOTIABLE)

  • Active SECRET security clearance (please list investigation type/date).
  • Minimum 12 years aviation maintenance experience (military and/or DoD contractor).
  • Minimum 6 years management/supervisory experience directing multi‑discipline maintenance teams (e.g., production control, maintenance control, division/work center leadership, detachment/site leadership).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline OR 21 total years aviation maintenance experience in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated success working with large, diverse teams and assigning workloads across entire shifts.
  • Broad, practical electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aircraft systems knowledge (rotary‑wing heavy‑lift strongly preferred).
  • Working application knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 (NAMP) and NAVAIRINST 3710.1G, tool control, FOD, and HAZMAT programs.
  • Proficiency with maintenance information & technical data systems (e.g., NALCOMIS/OOMA, digital pubs, logbook systems) and MS Office for metrics and reporting.
  • Strong communication (briefing/written) and problem‑solving skills; able to relay complex maintenance status succinctly to leadership.

PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to traverse flight line and maintenance spaces, observe work evolutions safely, and don required PPE.
  • Occasionally lift/push/pull moderate weights during inspections or spot checks.
