A successful national housebuilder are seeking an assistant site manager for a new flagship scheme in the Maidstone area. With several years left on site, this is an excellent opportunity to join a key project in the early stages. The project is a mix of different house types and low-level apartments, all traditional build. Working as part of a larger site management team you will be working on units at various stages of construction, working towards a site management position,
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
You will have experience of working in a similar role on a large residential development with either a main contractor or housebuilder, You will be looking for a long-term career move and hold in date 1st aid, cscs & smuts qualifications.
YOUR NEW ROLE
As assistant site manager you will work closely with the site management team supporting in the day-to-day operation of the development as well as upholding safety, quality control & presentation. With support you will oversee the organisation of subcontractors and labour, daily inductions, carrying out regular inspections, enforce health and safety and report back to site management team on progress and issues. As the site progresses you will focus on internal fit-out aspects taking units from 1st fix through to cml handover.
