SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Site Supervisor to join our team at National Rent-All Inc. In this role, you will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will be crucial in driving project success.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or certificate in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of building high-rise residential experience
  • Familiarity with Ontario Building Code and health and safety regulations (e.g., OHSA).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to solve problems independently.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Procore software is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Site Supervisor in overseeing daily on-site construction activities to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to maintain schedule and resolve concerns.
  • Enforce safety procedures and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
  • Keep detailed reports of material deliveries and labor attendance.
  • Assist in scheduling, managing quality control, and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Escalate on-site concerns to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager when necessary.
  • Attend and participate in site meetings, taking notes and following up on action items as required.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify that work aligns with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Support the Site Superintendent with site cleanliness, access control, and organization.
