This contract includes four campus locations in Greeley, Windsor, Loveland, and Fort Lupton, and the role requires frequent travel between these sites, sometimes visiting each location once per day. The Assistant Site Supervisor oversees PST security personnel, ensures proper staffing coverage and scheduling accuracy, supports ongoing training initiatives, and maintains strong working relationships with clients. This position plays an important role in operational readiness, staff development, and ensuring all security personnel remain compliant with company policies and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities may vary by post and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), but generally include: Supervisory & Operational Duties Organize, oversee, and adjust schedules and work assignments for security staff Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and daily site operations Conduct regular walkthroughs and security inspections of assigned facilities Serve as a liaison between PST and client staff to ensure effective information flow Ensure guards are trained for specific site needs, providing remedial or supplemental training as required Ensure uninterrupted site coverage and may assume post duties as needed to ensure continuous site coverage to maintain operational staffing levels Oversee compliance with continuing education and skill proficiency requirements Take a proactive approach to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all personnel and visitors Security & Site Responsibilities Monitor property activity, conduct patrols, and manage access control Respond to incidents, emergencies, and evacuations with professionalism and sound judgment Apply strong de-escalation techniques and conflict-resolution skills Conduct screenings and enforce site policies to prevent prohibited items from entering the premises Support responsible alcohol service where applicable, ensuring compliance with regulations Utilize QR/NFC systems, CCTV, and reporting tools to maintain accurate patrol logs and incident reports Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and staff Follow all site-specific SOPs, company policies, and local laws while maintaining strict confidentiality Represent PST with professionalism, integrity, and accountability at all times Who You Are: A strong leader with proven experience supervising or directing teams Calm under pressure with excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in addressing operational needs An effective communicator—professional, clear, and respectful with staff, clients, and the public Maintains strong situational awareness and sound decision-making in dynamic environments Dependable, positive, and capable of managing time and responsibilities effectively Works well both independently and as part of a team Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times Technologically proficient with smartphones, reporting tools, and scheduling systems Physically capable of performing job duties, including patrols, climbing stairs, and extended standing or walking Demonstrates professional firearms experience, including safe handling, marksmanship proficiency, adherence to safety protocols, and weapon retention Exercises sound judgment and restraint when carrying or deploying firearms Committed to maintaining firearms proficiency and complying with all company, state, and client weapon policies Eligible to obtain and maintain all required City of Greeley security guard licenses Able to respond confidently and appropriately to high-risk or emergency situations Leads by example in maintaining safety, professionalism, and compliance among armed personnel Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required 3–5 years of security-related experience required Prior supervisory or lead-officer experience strongly preferred Minimum Requirements 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and MVR Ability to obtain a security guard license Must pass CO POST pistol qualification (if carrying a firearm) CPR certified (or willing to complete provided training) Reliable transportation Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, including stairs Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted Completion of company-provided hand-to-hand skills course Ability to wear full uniform, gear belt, and ballistic carrier for the entire shift Must be able to traverse entire facility and perform physical security functions Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a workstation and using a computer Ability to maintain and operate issued firearm (if applicable) Ability to stand for up to eight hours or more Frequent stair use and facility movement throughout shift Capability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds Ability to perform defensive tactics as required Note: We provide security coverage around the clock, every day of the year.
