Description

Looking for someone who has previous experience at New Covent Garden Market in plants or flowers.
Assist our Stand Manager and Managing Director in daily operations and running of the stand at New Covent Garden Market.
- looking for a candidate working for a previous wholesale nursery around London. Not suitable for gardeners and landscapers or florists. Must of been working for a similar business previously.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with landscapers and garden designers, alongside florists , and shops.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market. We are looking for someone in a background in Landscape Nurseries who can help us establish our expanding customer base.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management of bedding plants, perennials, shrubs, and houseplants Both from our British Nurseries and from Belgium.
- Collaborate with the team to create promotional strategies and events.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a company supplying bedding plants and other horticultural products to landscapers
- Strong knowledge of British-grown plants and horticultural practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- Experience in buying whether in a Garden Centre, Wholesale or sale of plants - Bedding , Perennials and Shrubs.
