What You'll Do The Assistant Station Manager is a key member of the store leadership team and plays a critical role in supporting daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and guiding team performance. This position serves as the second-in-command and may assume full operational responsibilities in the absence of the Station Manager. The Assistant Station Manager is expected to lead by example, support training and development of the team, and ensure a clean, safe, and well-run store environment. Where required by law, the individual may be required to obtain an Operator License to sell alcohol products in select markets. 3+ years of experience in a convenience store, gas station, or retail environment. 3+ years of experience in handling cash and completing shift reports or basic bookkeeping tasks. Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system accurately. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally, and to stand for extended periods. Preferred Experience: Prior experience as a shift lead, keyholder, or team leader in a retail or convenience setting.
