As an Assistant Manager at Detail Garage you will be responsible for exceeding customer expectations by delivering exceptional customer service, providing in depth product knowledge and creating an awesome experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage the daily operations of a retail store including marketing, inventory management, customer service, and the onboarding and training of new employees. The Assistant Manager assumes responsibility for all store operations when the Store Manager is not onsite. The Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining a strong selling focus in the store in order to achieve personal and store sales goals.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 year supervisory experience in retail or service related industry preferred.
• Outgoing personality and ability to engage with others.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve individual selling goals and metrics.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Strong personal leadership skills and desire to succeed.
• Ability to deal with problem situations in a professional manner.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Schedule flexibility with the ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Ability to move about in a store including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders and step stools, carrying, bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• Fluency in a second language is a plus.
