Assistant Retail Store Manager     LOCATION: NEW TAZEWELL EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time/Non-Exempt/Regular HOURLY WAGE $13   Goodwill Industries--Knoxville, Inc. is seeking full-time Assistant Retail Store Manager Ideal candidates will be energetic, flexible, have excellent customer service skills, reliable transportation and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Summary:  Responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail facility. Supervises staff and community service workers, etc. in the absence of the Store Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Support daily store operations and team leadership (6 months – 1 year experience)  • Deliver outstanding customer service  • Help drive sales, merchandising, and donation processing  • Train, motivate, and inspire team members  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment  • Assist with achieving store goals and performance standards Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: • Retail leadership or supervisory experience preferred  • Strong communication and organizational skills  • Positive attitude with a passion for helping others  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Listens to others without interrupting; Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.
