An Assistant Store Manager position has become available at Readers Warehouse Store based in Norwood, JHB.
The Assistant Store Manager performs the role of Assistant to the Manager of the Store, to ensure the highest level of customer service whilst maintaining store operations and security: including cash management procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to complete all managerial tasks in the absence of the Store Manager
· Ability to assist the Store Manager in all tasks on a daily basis.
· Good understanding of and accuracy within the financial duties of this role.
· Neat and professional appearance
· Good Communication skills
· Sales focused with a strong customer service focus.
· Urgent turn-around time on customer enquiries.
· Work continuously on building relationships with customers and colleagues
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
· 2-3 years of experience within a Supervisory role within a similar environment, being involved in the day to day running of the Store.
· Matric or equivalent
· Retail management certificate or equivalent would be an advantage.
· IR experience an advantage.
