ABOUT US:
At Enson Market, we are proud to bring fresh, high-quality Asian groceries, produce, and
specialty products to our community. We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Store
Manager Assistant to help support daily operations, and manage our store’s social media
presence.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of retail, grocery, or supermarket experience (Asian supermarket experience preferred).
Strong leadership, multitasking, and communication skills.
Familiarity with Asian grocery products and cultural practices.
Basic understanding of HR procedures (hiring, onboarding) and payroll handling.
Experience managing social media content (posting, engaging with customers).
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment. English speaking is required.
Preferred: Chinese, Korean, or Japanese as a first or second language.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Supervise and guide store associates to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store performance.
Help manage inventory: oversee ordering dry and freezing goods and managing cosmetic department
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor product quality, freshness, and shelf life, especially in fresh food sections.
Assist with creating employee schedules and ensuring proper staffing.
Support store promotions, holiday events, and special sales activities.
Ensure compliance with store policies, food safety, and health regulations.
Assist with daily cash handling, deposit preparation, and basic financial reporting.
ASSIST CORPORATE ACCOUNTING WITH PAYROLL-RELATED TASKS:
o Gather and review employee timesheets and attendance logs.
o Help resolve minor payroll issues and submit required documents on time.
