Our team seeks an Assistant Store Manager to direct the store management team to ensure the successful execution of all functions associated with running a retail profit center. You’ll manage a team of department managers and staff to deliver on REI business and service goals. Responsibilities and Qualifications How you will be successful: Communicates with store team, partners, vendors, and customers. Manage and delegate planned priorities to Department Managers and Shop Service Managers. Engage in creating a positive employee experience focused on engagement and retention. Manage expenses and operational excellence. Make business adaptations that result in increased sales and service. Uses tools and financial reports to increase store performance and maximize results. Inspire a customer-centric culture by recognizing and rewarding team. Develop top performers and evaluate performance, give coaching and appropriate level of feedback.
