What Assistant Store Managers do All store employees work together to provide excellent customer service, complete sales transactions, clean, stock merchandise, and receive deliveries. Assistant Store Managers (or ASMs, as we call them) go beyond that to support the Store Manager in running the business. Typical ASM duties include helping order merchandise, completing store paperwork, scheduling and approving timecards, leading employees, and other duties as needed. Requirements Who you are You have prior retail experience at the Assistant Manager level or above You're friendly and outgoing, a real people person You take pride in your work You're someone who works efficiently and pays attention to details You're dependable and motivated You're able to stand and walk for long periods, reach overhead, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. To meet the requirements for selling age-sensitive products, candidates must be at least 21 years of age What we offer Great pay - we offer a starting rate of $22.50/hr!
