Your Role in Our Mission:
The Assistant Manager is an essential part of the store leadership team, ensuring our team members and guests receive a great experience in our stores every day. Assistant Managers lead from the floor to create a fun, safe, and healthy environment where team members have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Duties:

  • Go above and beyond to create an unforgettable guest experience for all of our guests
  • Follow our chef curated recipes to create delicious & nutritious products
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a team of like-minded amazing team members
  • Create a positive & fun environment as a leader among peers and take on new challenges to accomplish your goals
  • Coach team members while recognizing and rewarding performance as well as effort
  • Provide knowledge to our guests, team members, and vendors on juicing, healthy eating
  • Understand financial models, cost control, and Profit & Loss reports in order to maximize the store’s profitability
  • Complete daily opening and closing checklist and tasks
  • Prepare food and beverages (such as smoothies, juices, acai bowls) to build guide recipe and standards
  • Ensure correct measurements when following all food and drink recipe preparations
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner as designated by management
  • Stock incoming orders and merchandising product accordingly
  • Fill out waste log and other tracking documents
  • Wash blenders and kitchen utensils
  • Taking timely duty-free meal period(s) and/or rest break(s)
  • Be proactive to communicate to management if product is running low
  • Comfortable with excessive noise from blenders, juicers, and other equipment
  • Fulfill 3rd party and online orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Follow daily and weekly deep cleaning calendar in store
  • Contribute and provide feedback for closing manager reports each day
  • Proficiency in the use technology and POS systems
  • Possess a Food Handlers Certification if required by local ordinance
  • Check expiration on made to order and retail product offerings, daily
  • Practice First In First Out (FIFO )product handling
  • Follow all safety and health guidelines
  • Conduct sampling events

Experience Needed:

  • 1-2 years of leadership experience required (preferably in hospitality industry)
  • Bachelors’ degree preferred
  • Experience in customer-service focus position a plus
