Come and join the Parsons family. Established in 1926 and still going strong today our neighbourhood bakeries are ran by our retail superstars, could you be our next one? St Micheals is a fast paced store serving over 2000 customer a week on average, coffee, cake & meal deal central!
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring efficient and effective functioning
- Manage and lead a team of retail associates, providing guidance and support
- Implement strategies to drive sales and achieve store targets
- Create and maintain visual merchandising displays to enhance the store’s appeal
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Train and onboard new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
- Implement store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Collaborate with other store managers to share best practices and achieve overall business objectives
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail management is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Organizational skills to effectively manage inventory, schedules, and store operations
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries or issues
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse team and foster a positive work environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.41 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
