Barista-crafted espresso and liquid chocolate beverages are also a central part of the cafe, complimented by a selection of sandwiches, soups, and savoury offerings. We are also licensed and offer a selection of wine and spirits to complement our wide array of products.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years of customer service experience at a supervisory level in a hospitality/restaurant environment
- Proven commitment to a premium level of quality in both guest service and the overall operation of the establishment
- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated commitment to immediate service recovery solutions
- Skilled at developing and creating experiences that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Superior communication skills with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, clientele, suppliers, and partners
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle conflicting deadlines
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required
- Level 1 and Level 2 Food Safe Certification is required
- Serving It Right License is required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:
- Continually improve service strategies to always ensure our customers receive best in class service - Provide ongoing leadership, development and motivation to the FOH team.
- Recruit, onboard, train, performance manage, and schedule FOH staff
- Work closely with the Pastry Chef and culinary team to support and deliver a unique culinary experience.
- Manage all health, safety and sanitation standards, ensuring that requirements are met and maintained.
- Actively engage with guests, cultivating relationships and guest satisfaction
- Ensure coffee bar & program are running efficiently, working with baristas to maintain standards, coffee machine maintenance and recipes
- Identify gaps in customer satisfaction and assist in the development of corrective and proactive action plans where appropriate
- Proactively respond to third party review sites and guest comments in coordination with communications team
- Assist with generating business growth through local marketing initiatives
- Ensure all fixed assets are in good working condition, oversees preventative maintenance of assets
- Ensure shipping and receiving to other café locations operates effectively; conduct inventory counts
- Assist with merchandising product in according with company and brand standards - Assist with photo shoots to develop
- Communications assets for website, social media, promotional collateral etc
