MISSION:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team based in Rome!
Reporting to the Cluster Manager, you will manage the one of our stores located in Rome.
Our Retail channel is very dynamic and growing quickly, and is central for the development of our company, with direct stores in Italy, UK and US and planned openings in other European countries. It’s a great opportunity for an ambitious talent who wants to make a difference in the Retail world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being in charge of the store P&L;
  • Manage the team to reach together business goals;
  • Maintain high standards of selling technique and customer experience;
  • Drive trainings for the team and new entries as motivator and guide;
  • Communicate effectively to the team to ensure each person is up to speed with key updates;
  • Monitor store KPIs and performance, manage store calendar (shifts, orders, forecast and inventory management) in order to reach company goals;
  • Promote and guarantee Venchi’s service model is properly carried out;
  • Execute visual merchandising guidelines and layouts;
  • Promote smart initiatives to improve practical solutions and fill possible gaps.

The Ideal candidate:

  • 2 years of store management;
  • A former experience in an international retail-oriented company will be considered a plus;
  • 1 year of People Management at least;
  • Result-oriented with ability to effectively multitask in a rapid work environment, by meeting all deadlines;
  • Strong relation, negotiation and organizational skills with constant attention to detail and performance;
  • Problem solving and decision-making mindset combined with ability to manage both independent and teamwork;
  • Ability to create and develop data-driven business strategies;
  • International mindset, fluent in Italian and English;
  • Positive and flexible…and obviously a chocolate and gelato lover!
