Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE?

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wongs Jewellers for an Assistant Store Manager. This is your chance to help lead a talented, award-winning team in one of the UK’s most prestigious independent jewellers.
Working alongside the Store Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the store, managing a dynamic team across the sales floor and collaborating with our in-house goldsmiths. You’ll be key to maintaining our renowned in-store experience and driving both operational and commercial performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations
  • Help lead the team to deliver outstanding service and achieve sales targets
  • Step up to lead in the Store Manager’s absence
  • Nurture strong customer relationships to build long-term loyalty
  • Champion showroom presentation and visual merchandising standards
  • Assist with stock control, store layout, and operational planning
  • Support with training, coaching, and motivating team members
  • Use social media and digital tools to engage and grow the customer base
  • Oversee the customer journey from initial enquiry to post-sale care
