We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Student Affairs Office: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Providing general administrative support to the daily work, routine operation of different projects and activities at Sports and Physical Education and SAO level; Providing frontline services and handling students’ and external parties’ enquiries; Providing assistance in the co-ordination of sports programme, competitions, activities and events; Providing assistance in sports facilities booking and management; Coordinating and liaising with internal and external parties at various levels; and Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Student Affairs or his/her delegate(s). The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: At least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics, preferably with a recognized degree; A genuine interest in working with and for students; High computer-literacy, excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills in English and Cantonese (including Putonghua); Relevant work experiences in tertiary education sector is preferred; A high sense of self-motivation and ownership, fast learning, be a problem solver who is capable of working independently and collaboratively; and Strong passion for working with and helping students to enhance student engagement. Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
