Description Bach Team's Multi-Family Division is seeking a full-time assistant superintendent for apartment developments around the American Fork, UT area. Experience with Multi-Family developments required. Assistant Superintendent Duties: Knowledge of the trades required for wood-framed construction. Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the project. The ability to comprehensively read and understand Plans, Shop drawings, and Submittals. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Maintains construction schedule with the ability to identify and solve issues OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred. Experience with basic MS Windows software (Excel, Projects, Word) Maintains positive relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other employees. Enforces and monitors site safety protocol and rectify job site hazards immediately. Daily management of on-site staff and laborers. Requirements Assistant Superintendent Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and/or related software. Ability to read construction drawings and understand industry scopes of work. At least 3 years of construction experience are required. Preferably with multi-family construction. Must be able to traverse and Jobsite all areas of jobsite in all types of weather (this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching). Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. Exposure to typical construction site dangers.
