Under the direction of a Superintendent, the Omega Builders' Assistant Superintendent will assist in on-site coordination of all phases of new home construction, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment. The Assistant Superintendent will ensure that all specifications are being followed and work is on schedule within budget. Upon successful completion of training, the Assistant Superintendent will promote to the Superintendent role. Essential Duties Assists in managing the construction of multiple home construction sites under Omega’s lean principles Develops and maintains great working relationships with vendors and subcontractors Communicates Omega’s quality and performance standards to contractors and vendors Schedules subcontractors, vendors and inspectors to ensure timely completion Performs quality control duties and responsibilities for the work being performed Maintains a safe work site by implementing good housekeeping and safety regulations Maintains up to date knowledge of required building codes, etc. Conducts New Home Orientation with homeowners prior to closing Ensures all punch list items are completed prior to closing Achieves the highest quality end product and new homeowner satisfaction through effective management of resources and construction process Any other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent customer service and time management skills Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, plans, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required Some college preferred Experience residential new home construction preferred
Responsibilities
Assist the Superintendent in coordinating all phases of new home construction, including managing subcontractors, materials, and equipment. Ensure all specifications are followed, schedules are met, and high-quality standards are achieved prior to homeowner closing.
