· Sous la supervision du Superviseur de production, l’Assistant Superviseur participe, et aide à la coordination des activités quotidiennes de production afin d’assurer la conformité, la qualité et la sécurité des opérations. Il agit comme soutien à l’équipe de production et veille au respect des normes et procédures en vigueur.

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Assistant Supervisor participates in, and assists in the coordination of, day-to-day production activities to ensure compliance, quality, and safety of operations. He or she acts as a support to the production team and ensures compliance with the standards and procedures in force.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

· Compulsory secondary school diploma (SSD); DEP in Chemical Processes or DEC in Industrial Processes/Chemistry (an asset).
· Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the chemical or pharmaceutical field.
· Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, WHMIS and GMP (an asset).
· Good physical capacity
· Positive leadership and ability to work in a team.
· Good communication in French; Functional English (asset).
· Basic knowledge of computers (Windows, Outlook, Excel).

· Support the supervisor in the planning, organization and monitoring of production activities.
· Assist in the distribution of tasks and support operators in the execution of processes.
· Monitor production parameters and report any anomalies or non-conformities.
· Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of health and safety standards, including WHMIS.
· Maintain clean and safe workplaces, ensure compliance with procedures and the wearing of PPE.
· Participate in the training and integration of new employees according to established protocols.
· Ensure that production records are maintained and support the preparation of reports.
· Collaborate with the quality department for the follow-up of control measures (raw materials and finished products).
· Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing processes and reducing costs.
· Replace the supervisor in case of absence, as required.
