Are you an experienced journalist ready to take the next step in news production and presenting? Looking to be part of a dynamic newsroom delivering trusted regional news? The Opportunity We’re looking for a driven Assistant Supervising Producer/ Presenter to join our 7News team in Maroochydore and assist the Supervising Producer in co-ordinating production of our Seven News bulletins. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Supervising Producer and 7Qld’s seven regional newsrooms and report directly to the Supervising Producer in Maroochydore. What you'll do: Assist in subbing stories, updates and promos for the daily 6pm news bulletins Assist with management of breaking news stories Ensure stories/ content are complete and ready to air Be willing to work in other regional areas when required Perform back-up presenting duties and regular morning and evening update presenting. What you'll bring: You are an experienced news Journalist or Producer with excellent interpersonal skills, a proven ability to liaise with stakeholders all levels, an ability to work to tight deadlines and maturity of judgment and discretion. You are highly organised and able to handle multiple tasks at one time. Responsibilities
The Assistant Supervising Producer/Presenter will assist the Supervising Producer in coordinating the production of daily 6pm news bulletins, including subbing stories, managing breaking news, and ensuring content is ready for air.
