Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Assistant Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing, directing, and leading employees and contractors at sites across our Rudall group while being supported by the Operations Supervisor. In this role, you will support operations planning to ensure we safely and efficiently receive and store grain, while finding ways to improve.
This is a hands-on and diverse role which encompasses office-based work, frequent local travel, and collaboration with colleagues across our business. We’re looking for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment where your supervisory and problem-solving skills will play a key role in the smooth running of the Rudall site.
Rudall on the Eyre Peninsula lies in the centre of a major wheat growing and sheep farming; have the rural lifestyle that you’ve always wanted, close to the coast as well as neighbouring major amenities located in Port Lincoln.

DUTIES

  • Under the guidance of the operations supervisor, effectively supervise, coordinate, and leave employees and contractors onsite, ensuring operational team performance and production targets.
  • Support the operations supervisor with grain receival, storage, and out loading activities.
  • Enforce safety, food safety and quality protocols with documentation administration.
  • Assist with operational planning to comply with safety, quality systems and efficiency targets.
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality and quantity of grain stored at site.
  • Support with recruitment, selection, and induction processes at site.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
