Description FLSA Status – Non-Exempt Job Responsibilities Responsible for assisting with all of the functions of the summer swim team, Manta Rays, year-round swim program, public relations, and overall operation of the HRC Manta Rays. Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operations, it may be necessary for each employee to perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed. Job Tasks (Essential Functions) Duties include but are not limited to assisting in the development of seasonal goals Swim workouts Management of set-up, process, and clean-up of meets. Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Head Swim Coach. Reports to Head Swim Coach Supervises No supervisory duties are included in this position. Requirements Minimum Requirements Education – High School Diploma or GED (unless currently enrolled in High School), CPR/AED & First Aid Certification Language Skills – English Physical Requirements Stand – Three quarters of the time Walk – Quarter of the time Sit – Quarter of the time Use hands/fingers to handle/feel – Always Reach with hands/arms – Three quarters of the time Climb or balance – Occasionally Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl – Occasionally Talk/hear – Always Taste/smell – None Weight Lifted/force exerted – occasionally up to 20 pounds. Visual Requirements – Always Work Environment Wet or humid conditions – Half of the time (when walking tennis courts) Work near moving mechanical parts – Occasional (when outside) Work in high precarious places – Never Fumes or airborne particles – Occasional (when outside) Toxic or caustic chemicals – Occasional (when outside) Outdoor weather conditions – Occasional (when outside) Risk of electrical shock – Never
