Description

The Perth Stingrays Aquatic Club (PSAC) is seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Competitive Swim Coach to join our coaching team and help lead our year-round, competitive swim program serving approximately 60 swimmers. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging coach to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact in a supportive and close-knit community.
Located in the beautiful town of Perth, Ontario, PSAC is a values-driven club that emphasizes Growth, Integrity, Community, and Compassion. We believe in athlete-centred coaching that balances long-term development with a love of the sport.
Our competitive season runs from September to July, with most training and competition taking place during this period. However, employment may be year-round, with opportunities to support off-season programming, club planning, and professional development.
The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate training, and help foster a positive team culture. This position is ideal for a coach looking to build experience across multiple age groups in a collaborative, community-based club.

  • Positive role model with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Hy-Tek Meet Manager/Team Manager and comfort with Google Workspace tools.
