Description ABOUT THE POSITION: UD Team Assistant Teachers are collaborative, self-driven, and attuned to the academic and emotional needs of at-risk students. ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: Urban Dove Team Charter School (UD Team) is a distinctive network of sports-based high schools catering to over-aged, under-credited youth. We fuse a robust academic curriculum with sports-based youth development, ensuring our graduates receive a diploma, a stepping stone for higher education, and essential job skills. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Support teachers in delivering differentiated instruction based on an array of student needs Support teachers in effectively managing student behavior through the lens of restorative justice Collaborate with Social Workers, Student Support Services, Coaches, and other school staff to develop the ideal individual learning plan for each student. Keep track of the individual progress of all students Support teachers in the design and implementation of differentiated assessments that measure progress towards competencies Participate in collaborative instructional planning, grade-level teacher teams, and school-wide functions Tutor individual students and monitor academic intervention sessions Review data and student progress regularly via an electronic learning management system Requirements Compensation: $45,760 to $50,000 annually based on years of experience and education. Responsibilities
