Established multi-site Childcare Operator seeks an Assistant Teacher for vacant positions at our Baycrest Child Care Centre location.
Position: Permanent - Full Time

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR – AED Level C
• Current and Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
• Complete Toronto Public Health Medical and Immunization requirements

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Warm and Energetic individual who has the ability to work with Children of all ages, experience with Toddler and/or Preschool age group is an asset.
• Must possess strong initiative and organizational skills and have a positive attitude
• Dependable and Flexible - arrives on time and ready to commence work as scheduled
• Communicate effectively and professionally with Children, Staff and Parents, ICSG Management, and any other Governing Agencies
• Must have general knowledge of Childcare Operations and an ability to comply with all the requirements from CCEYA/AQI/TPH/ICSG [incl. TDSB Policies and Procedures for sites located in TDSB]
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
• Has the ability to implement an Early Childhood Program as per requirements set out by governing agencies
• Maintain Room control with positive Behaviour Management Strategies
• Ability to plan and implement a program
