Our classrooms are joyful, engaging spaces where children learn through play, exploration, and hands-on activities. Responsibilities Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom. Assist with implementing The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum, helping children grow socially, cognitively, and emotionally. Help maintain daily classroom routines and structure. Build warm, positive relationships with children and families. Communicate daily with parents through classroom apps and conversations. Support individualized learning goals and help observe child progress. Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with Michigan childcare licensing standards. Collaborate with your teaching team and center leadership to promote a positive, high-quality learning environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred. CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework a plus, but not required. Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available). Reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about supporting early learners.
