This role helps create a structured, engaging learning environment while supporting daily classroom routines alongside Lead Teachers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children in a collaborative early childhood education setting. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily classroom routines and learning activities Support developmentally appropriate experiences for children across age groups Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers Prepare classroom materials and support group activities Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members Follow New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements Qualifications High school diploma required Prior childcare experience preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
