Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

We’re seeking an Azure-certified Level 2 Engineer to step into an Assistant Team Lead role, combining hands-on technical support with leadership and mentoring. You’ll help manage escalations, guide junior engineers and COE staff, and ensure the performance and reliability of our hybrid cloud infrastructure, which supports customers across financial services and other regulated industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Resolve Level 2 technical issues in Azure and hybrid environments (Windows/Linux, networking, storage), with a strong awareness of compliance, security, and operational risk.
  • Lead by example—own escalations, mentor Level 1 and 2 team members, and support the Team Lead in day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor and maintain Azure infrastructure, applying automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Drive documentation, root cause analysis, and knowledge sharing across the team, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Work closely with customers in finance and other regulated industries, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to performance monitoring and incident reviews, with a compliance-aware mindset.
