  Salary: £50,756 - £53,048 (Inclusive of 10% market supplement)   Hours per week: 37 hours   Fixed term: Until the end of March 2028   Interview date: 15th July 2026     Join our Dynamic Kinship and Fostering Team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the service.  Our Outstanding Children's Service would like to welcome a Kinship Assistant Team Manager with substantive social care experience to join our Countywide Kinship and Fostering team. As an Assistant Team Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping a positive impact on families. Working closely with the Team Manager, you will manage and supervise a number of qualified Social Workers, and you will be keeping the individuals needs firmly at the heart of all you do. Your dedication will drive positive change and shape a brighter future for those in need.   Kinship is a specialised service within our broader team, that focuses on supporting special guardians, connected person foster care, and private fostering arrangements. Here, you will become part of a dedicated team of professionals who are genuinely passionate about the service they provide and its impact on the lives of children who require care. Your role will involve overseeing a team of support workers who will form relationships with birth parents and their family and friends network, to help support children remain within their own family. Responsibilities
Manage and supervise a team of qualified Social Workers and support workers within the Kinship and Fostering service. Oversee support for special guardians and private fostering arrangements to ensure children remain within their family networks.
