Responsibilities
  • You will manage a small team of social workers who, utilising the Family Safeguarding Model work in collaboration with other specialist workers including Domestic Abuse Practitioners, Recovery Workers and Mental Health Practitioners to offer group based interventions to families.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing the management of Social Workers’ allocated caseloads, providing advice, direction and support to team members where required.
  • Alongside the team manager, you will monitor the quality of service delivery and outcomes, taking action as necessary to address performance and ensure best practice.
  • You will undertake professional and reflective supervision of the team, carrying out annual performance appraisals, 1-1s and address performance issues where they occur.
