DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Assistant Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing accurate information within set benchmarks and in accordance with agreed procedures. This role involves analysing technical data, calculating transactions, and contributing to team success through personal development and flexibility.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
Excellent attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
A basic understanding of the insurance market, practices and regulation would be desirable.
Able to interpret insurance documentation / data and demonstrate a basic understanding of relevant classes of business.
Minimum 5 GCSE’s at Grade 4 and above including Maths and English Language.
Willing to study for the CII Award in Insurance

Responsibilities:
Process London Market Insurance underwriting data in line with the applicable procedure guides.
Analyse technical data and calculate technical transactions including limits, premiums and deductions.
Process insurance underwriting data on a timely and accurate basis adhering to the applicable:
- benchmark standard
- accuracy targets
- contractual Service Level Agreements per client / service
