JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in contract and tender management within the construction industry, including experience with large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations, processes, and industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, tender processes, and legal considerations in procurement and project execution.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate contract terms, assess risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • High attention to detail for reviewing, drafting, and administering tenders, ensuring contract accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and oversee contract-related workflows efficiently.
Responsibilities
  • Support senior management in formulating business strategies and developing partnership engagement models, primarily focusing on legal considerations.
  • Oversee and manage the tendering process, including pre- and post-tender administration, procurement, and contract-related activities.
  • Lead cost planning and preparation of tender submissions.
  • Supervise the team in conducting invitation for quotations, negotiations, evaluations, recommendations, and contract confirmations.
  • Engage stakeholders in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and implementing tenders for construction projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse contractual obligations, payment terms, deliverables, and associated risks to align agreements with company objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with tender projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure tender specifications are met and project milestones are achieved.
  • Conduct periodic contract evaluations to assess performance, identify improvement areas, and drive value optimization.
