The assistant will be responsible for: Renewing annual memberships Updating faculty credentials over various platforms Calendar management Drafting and editing letters of recommendation, grant letters, and other written communication Website maintenance Event planning Making travel arrangements Course-related assistance with exams, entering grades and course packets Updating Chair’s CV Handling travel arrangements Processing purchase requisitions Administrative control of projects conducted by assigned professors Maintaining faculty budgets and drafting reports This position requires: Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of detail and time management skills Considerable knowledge of office practices and University policy and procedures Extensive use of PC and various software packages (MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, social media platforms and PRISM/Oracle System. Associate degree and 3 years of administrative experience. Experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.
