About the role Gersh is seeking a highly organized, driven Assistant to support our Co‑Chairman, who oversees the Talent department. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of entertainment industry experience – preferably assisting a high‑volume executive – and thrives in a fast‑paced, detail‑heavy environment. This role offers strong growth potential for someone passionate about film and eager to learn the business from the inside out. Duties Manage a high volume of emails and phone calls from clients, producers, production companies, studio executives/staff, and accounting departments. Generate client deal memos, invoices, and start paperwork. Send clients script submissions and set client meetings. Update client avails, resumes, and websites. Communicate deal points to the accounting department through Trust Accounting and assist with payment tracking. Maintain and update project tracking grid. Prepare monthly expense reports. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Familiarity and experience working with top executives, production companies, and key players across the entertainment industry is strongly preferred. Detail-oriented, motivated and ability to manage multiple projects and expectations. Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to handle highly confidential information with discretion. Positive attitude, highly organized, and ability to work well under pressure. Must be willing to make a 2-year commitment in the role.
