Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive support to the Commercial Director in managing the overall commercial strategy and operations of the business. This role is pivotal in helping to manage day-to-day operations and contribute to the efficiency and growth of the business. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of commercial processes.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Commercial Director in executing the company’s commercial strategy.
  • Provide administrative support, coordinate and prepare reports, presentations and correspondence as required.
  • Collaborate with the Business Unit teams to facilitate them meeting their deliverable deadlines to drive revenue growth.
  • Act as primary point of contact between company, suppliers, and clients, handling queries and facilitating smooth communication across departments.
  • Support production of Business Unit reports and progress chase same to meet deadlines. Collate data for senior management.
  • Work interdepartmentally to analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to help shape the company’s commercial offerings. Provide regular reports to the Commercial Director on performance metrics, forecasts, and market conditions.
  • Assist in the preparation of commercial budgets, sales forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies, product offerings, and promotional activities to maximise revenue while maintaining competitive positioning in the market.
  • Help identify potential commercial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

ROLE REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor’s in business administration, Marketing, or related field (Preferred but not essential)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Commercial or administrative role, ideally in a fast-paced industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to implementation.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and positive solution-oriented attitude.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
