SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to relate well to people on all levels with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy
· First-class organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines; systematic in approach to tasks, with attention to detail
· Able to deal with sensitive and confidential information in a totally discreet manner
· Evidence of a proactive approach to planning and prioritising work, with the ability to use initiative appropriately and to work with minimal supervision
· Able to establish and maintain administrative systems and records
· Excellent ICT skills, including being adept in the use of Microsoft applications, e.g. Word and Excel
· Excellent command of written and spoken English

To assist the DFO by providing strong and effective support across all support functions (Finance, HR, Estates, IT, Administration and Compliance) to ensure that the business activities of the school are managed as economically and effectively as possible.
· Manage projects and other initiatives as directed by the DFO.
· Assist the DFO in their general duties across all School support functions as required.
· Assist in the review of business processes and recommend improvements.
· Help embed a culture of continuous improvement across the support staff.
· Assist in ensuring compliance with all aspects of employment law and safer recruitment requirements.
· In liaison with the DFO, coordinate the preparation of papers and information for Board and other Leadership Meetings.
