Job Description: Work for one of Australia’s leading hospital groups Friendly and supportive team environment Permanent, Part Time, 20 hours per week About the Role General Medicine is a large medical department that sits within the Medicine, Emergency and Intensive Care program at SVHM. The General Medical Director oversees the General Medicine department in conjunction with the Nurse Unit Managers, Operations Manager and General Manager. The Assistant role to the Director of General Medicine will support the Director with the running of the department and will be based at the Fitzroy site. This is a permanent part time position at 0.5 EFT Manage and coordinate diary/meeting schedules, including meeting/appointment requests and arrange meetings, as requested Coordinate meetings as requested, including timely preparation of agendas, completion of minutes and distribution Attend and minute meetings, as required by the Director Correspond with relevant internal SVHM and external professionals and their representatives, and other relevant stakeholders and keep all parties informed of relevant communications, meetings and schedule changes Managing and manintaing Senior Medical Staff rosters and leave planners and leave requests Assist the Director to regularly track local KPI data including mandatory training, performance reviews, discharge summary completion, JMS overtime and excess leave Creation and formatting of reports, correspondence, statistical reporting platforms, as required Assist with recruitment administration as required Ensure the timely completion of UKG administrative processes each pay period, workday actions and changes and D365 invoice administration on behalf of the Director, as required Assist with preparation of presentations and other administrative tasks requested by the Director Classifications for this position will range from HS3 - HS25 ($74,448.40 - $82,305.60) per annum, pro rata.
