PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and professional Assistant to support both the Managing Director (MD) and the Sales Office Manager of a thriving manufacturing business in a fast-paced and dynamic industry. This office-based role is a pivotal position that combines administrative, coordination, and operational duties with a clear path to progression into a Sales Office Manager role.

OPERATIONAL & ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  • Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations in the Sales Office.
  • Support with product specification processes and documentation.
  • Create and maintain product codes using Sage accounting software.
  • Check, verify, and authorise carrier invoices.
  • Maintain and update the Fire Testing register and ensure product safety records are accurate and up to date.
  • Administer and monitor stockist voucher schemes.
  • Manage staff timesheets and support payroll-related reporting.
  • Review and validate analysis codes in the sales ledger.
  • Monitor marketplace platforms and flag discrepancies or required actions.
  • Support ad hoc operational tasks and contribute to the smooth running of the Sales Office.
