The Assistant Coordinator Tobacco Cessation assists the Program Coordinator for the Lake County Community Tobacco Prevention & Cessation Coalition as part of Franciscan Alliance’s role as Lead Agency for the Indiana State Department of Health’s Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Commission (TPC) community-based partnership grant. Half of the Assistant Coordinator’s role is as Youth Coordinator for youth-related coalition work-plans, and half is to partner with the Program Coordinator on implementing other coalition work-plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate Degree in Safety/Regulatory /Compliance required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 4 years of science/applied science experience required
• 1 year of experience within Lake County Community required
• 1 year of working with high school youth in a collaborative setting required
