About the Position: Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Training Development Manager – Security to join our Security Team. The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are: Develop and maintain structured training programs, lesson plans, SOPs, and instructional materials for the Security Department. Deliver classroom, practical, and scenario-based training sessions to prepare personnel for professional and safe performance. Conduct training needs assessments and collaborate with Security Operations to address gaps and emerging risks. Oversee quality assurance for all training outputs, ensuring accuracy and consistency across delivery teams. Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation in line with regulatory requirements. Support onboarding programs for new security personnel, ensuring alignment with Wynn standards and guest-service culture. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, audits, and feedback; recommend improvements as needed. Provide coaching and mentorship to trainers and supervisors for consistent delivery. Collaborate with SOC, Risk & Safety, HR, and external partners to align training with operational needs. Assist in developing emergency response exercises and scenario-based readiness training. Ensure all training meets UAE regulations, licensing requirements, and industry best practices. Contribute to the development of e-learning and blended learning methodologies. Provide training support during major events or special operations requiring fast-track instruction. About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Preferred: Associate degree or higher in Security, Training & Development, or related field. Required: Instructor-level certification (e.g., Train-the-Trainer, Security Trainer qualification). Required: First Aid / CPR and Fire Warden certifications. Required: Valid UAE driver’s license. Minimum 5 years of experience in security training or operations within hospitality, luxury hotels, or large-scale venues. Preferred: Experience in integrated resorts, casinos, or premium hospitality brands. Previous supervisory experience in training or security management is an advantage. Law enforcement or military background is a plus. Bi-lingual (English/Arabic) preferred; excellent English communication skills required. Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning methodologies. Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel; LMS experience is an advantage. Strong leadership, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Ability to manage multiple training projects under pressure and meet deadlines.
