Connelly School of the Holy Child is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach to support our dynamic lacrosse program. This position entails collaborating closely with the Head Coach to foster both athletic skill development and personal growth among student-athletes. You will assist in executing practice sessions, providing instruction in game strategies, and promoting a positive team culture. As the Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach, your key responsibilities will include: Supporting the planning and implementation of daily practices and game strategies. Assisting in developing the physical and mental skills of our student-athletes. Promoting team cohesion and fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and collaboration. Mentoring athletes to help them balance academic and athletic responsibilities. Ensuring that all team activities are in compliance with school policies and athletic standards. Acting as a liaison between players, parents, and the coaching staff to maintain open communication. Participating in furthering one's knowledge of lacrosse coaching through workshops and clinics. At Connelly School of the Holy Child, our mission is to provide an educational experience that empowers young women to thrive in their academic and athletic pursuits. A strong background in lacrosse, with prior coaching or playing experience preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of lacrosse techniques, rules, and strategies. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor high school athletes. Effective communication skills and the ability to foster a positive team environment. Commitment to personal character development and academic success of student-athletes. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for practices and games. Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred or must be acquired. A genuine commitment to the mission and goals of Connelly School of the Holy Child.
