Job Description As we embark on this exciting new chapter, we are seeking an energetic and charismatic Assistant Venue Manager to support the Venue Manager, Cibaria Noosa in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Support the Venue Manager with day-to-day venue operations Manage shifts and ensure smooth, consistent service delivery Conduct daily staff briefings prior to service Complete daily shift reports and banking procedures Lead and motivate the team, including ongoing performance management Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and guest engagement Assist with cost control and operational efficiency Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospitality management or supervisory role, with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams Excellent customer engagement skills, a strong memory for faces, and a polite, professional manner both in person and over the phone Sound knowledge of Italian food and wine, with an understanding of hospitality cost control measures Calm, composed, and effective under pressure, with strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment Exceptional attention to detail, high grooming standards, and confidence using hospitality systems Fluent in English (spoken and written), holding a current RSA Certificate, and full Australian working rights Availability to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays Preferred (but not essential) Formal hospitality qualifications Formal wine studies Experience with SevenRooms or similar reservation platforms Italian language skills Prior venue opening experience Additional Information 30% discount on food and beverage at Accor properties worldwide Generous accommodation discounts across 4,500+ properties in over 110 countries Career mobility across Accor’s global brand portfolio Ongoing training and professional development opportunities A strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, with a focus on promoting diverse talent
