Position Overview:
The Assistant Vice President, Business Development will support the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at driving business growth, market expansion, and revenue generation. Reporting to the CEO of our Water business, the AVP will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and contributing to the company’s competitive positioning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, strategy, or related roles.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Solid understanding of financial metrics and business performance indicators.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Strategic Support & Execution:

  • Assist in the development and execution of business development strategies across key markets.
  • Support senior leadership in identifying new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Contribute to strategic planning sessions and help translate high-level strategies into actionable initiatives.

Business Development & Relationship Management:

  • Support the pursuit of strategic partnerships and new market opportunities.
  • Participate in deal structuring and negotiations under the guidance of senior leaders.
  • Lead functional teams for brownfield or greenfield project over the entire process from prospect identification & assessment, negotiations, due diligence, deal closing to integration.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Market & Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business decisions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations with insights on market conditions and growth opportunities.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities.
  • Assist in preparing performance reports and updates for senior management.

Team Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Operations teams to ensure alignment of initiatives.
