A Typical Day:
As the Assistant Vice President, DevOps on the Cloud Engineering team, you will lead a team of talented DevOps engineers, driving the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the scalability, security, and operational efficiency of our systems while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
This leadership role requires a strong blend of deep technical expertise in infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, cloud architecture, and system reliability, combined with proven experience in team leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will maintain a significant hands-on technical contribution, actively engaging in design, implementation, and troubleshooting alongside your team, expected to dedicate 50-75% of your time to technical work. You will be instrumental in defining and executing our cloud engineering strategy, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to elevate platform resilience and streamline software delivery across the organization.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience managing cloud-based environments, overseeing infrastructure provisioning and automation, optimizing deployment workflows, and enhancing overall system performance at scale. This is a pivotal opportunity to lead and innovate in a fast-paced environment where ownership, accountability, and strategic problem-solving are highly valued.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines, with at least 3+ years in a lead or management role overseeing DevOps or Cloud Engineering teams.
  • Extensive AWS Cloud experience is a must-have, including architecting and managing complex cloud environments.
  • Proven expertise in infrastructure automation and configuration management tools and methodologies at an enterprise scale.
  • Deep experience designing, managing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.
  • Expert understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release automation strategies, with a focus on implementing robust and efficient processes. Experience with GitLab CI preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing technical talent.Proficiency in establishing and implementing monitoring, logging, and observability best practices.

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 Work Model: OFFIC
