A Typical Day:
As the Assistant Vice President, DevOps on the Cloud Engineering team, you will lead a team of talented DevOps engineers, driving the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the scalability, security, and operational efficiency of our systems while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
This leadership role requires a strong blend of deep technical expertise in infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, cloud architecture, and system reliability, combined with proven experience in team leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will maintain a significant hands-on technical contribution, actively engaging in design, implementation, and troubleshooting alongside your team, expected to dedicate 50-75% of your time to technical work. You will be instrumental in defining and executing our cloud engineering strategy, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to elevate platform resilience and streamline software delivery across the organization.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience managing cloud-based environments, overseeing infrastructure provisioning and automation, optimizing deployment workflows, and enhancing overall system performance at scale. Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
