Job Purpose Responsible for developing, managing and enhancing Islamic Trade products in compliance with Shariah principles/concepts. Analyzing market needs, driving product innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting the bank’s growth in trade finance. Act as a subject matter expert, liasing with internal and external stakeholders to provide Islamic trade solutions tailored to clients requirements Key Responsibilities Product Development and Management Design, develop and implement Shariah-compliant trade finance product. Enhance existing product to meet market demands. Conduct regular product reviews to ensure competiveness & compliance Market and Business Strategy Conduct market research to identify client’s needs and emerging trends in Islamic Trade finance. Develop strategies to increase market share and revenue in Islamic trade products. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to position and promote Islamic trade product effectively. Regulatory and Shariah Compliance Ensure all trade finance products comply within the Islamic law and regulatory requirements. Liaise with the Shariah and Advisory Governance team for necessary approvals on product implementations and modifications Stakeholders Engagements Build relationship with Shariah Board, internal and external stakeholders including operations teams, GT and related business units Performance Monitoring and Reporting Training and Support Risk Management Ensure alignment with the bank’s risk management framework
