Job Details Job Location: Kankakee, IL 60901 Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 Salary Gardant is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Clinical Services to provide leadership and operational support for clinical services across Gardant Communities. This role assists in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of clinical programs, regulatory compliance, quality assurance initiatives, and clinical best practices. The AVP of Clinical Services partners with regional and Community leadership to ensure high-quality, person-centered, outcome-driven care that aligns with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and Gardant’s mission. Responsibilities: Supports the Senior Vice President of Operations in the execution of clinical strategy, initiatives, and regulatory compliance efforts across all communities Assists in monitoring systemwide compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including newly developed or evolving regulatory markets Participates in the development, review, and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, standards, and governance documents based on best practices Provides operational oversight and support to Regional Directors of Clinical Services, Clinical Specialists, Clinical Educators, and Memory Care leadership as assigned Assists with the development, implementation, and monitoring of infection prevention and control programs in accordance with regulatory requirements Quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives, including tracking key quality indicators, benchmarks, and outcomes Collaborate with regional and community leaders to develop and monitor corrective action plans addressing audit findings, surveys, and compliance concerns Coordination and delivery of clinical training programs for new and existing clinical leaders related to regulatory updates, policies, and procedures Supports oversight of medication management systems in collaboration with partner pharmacies and electronic medical record (EMR) vendors Participates in the review and analysis of resident transitions and discharges and supports initiatives designed to reduce avoidable transitions Prepares and contributes to clinical reports and data summaries for executive leadership as requested Maintains professional knowledge through ongoing education, industry resources, and participation in professional organizations Participates in cross-functional initiatives related to clinical quality, compliance, and risk management Serves as a clinical resource and advisor to operations, sales, and community leadership teams Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in senior housing, assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare operations Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing; multi-state licensure preferred or ability to obtain as needed Demonstrated experience supporting regulatory compliance, quality programs, and clinical operations across multiple communities or regions Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered Strong knowledge of nursing practice, clinical operations, and state and federal regulations impacting senior living and assisted living Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality outcomes Ability to support strategic initiatives while managing operational execution Proficient with Microsoft Office, electronic health records (EHR), and related clinical and reporting systems Collaborative leadership style with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence clinical teams Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefit packages Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) Employer-subsidized Gym Membership & Wellness Program EAP & Maven family planning program 401(k) with biweekly employer match Outside-In Employee Referral Program Intentional work-life balance supported with competitive Paid Time Off Self-service payroll & tools (PayCom)
