Description
Collaborate with leadership within Mashreq’s Treasury and Corporate and Investment Banking to support the digital transformation strategy. Contribute towards the development of the cluster strategy and lead the effective implementation of the approved strategies and plans to ensure achievement of business objectives. Define the delivery roadmap and implementation timelines across Trading area of Treasury Technology digital transformation initiatives. Build the internal organizational capabilities and frameworks to enable the cluster to adopt rapid deployment techniques utilizing agile or similar methodologies. Manage and oversee the comprehensive cluster wide digital transformation and programs implementations approved budgets. Recommend and implement improvements to cluster policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of the assigned unit activity so that all relevant requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality and cost-effective solutions. Manage stakeholder relationships across all groups within Mashreq Bank ensuring alignment to common objectives and fulfillment of criteria and requirements across the various businesses and units. Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of section systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement. Serve as a “Change Champion”, responsible for the realization of the Trading for treasury technology transformation vision both internally and externally. Job Holder needs to interact with TCM Trading desk to understand the requirement. One also must review and agree the proposed solution with users. One is also expected to analyze various solutions from the market and propose to the users to help grow business. Job Holder is expected to understand the problem from the user, get it analyzed and resolved at the earliest to avoid any business impact. One is also expected to interact with other groups to resolve the problems as needed. Job Holder has the authority to take decisions to run the business for Trading Cluster from technology side. One also has the responsibility to make sure that there is no impact or downtime of the system in trading hours to avoid impact to business.
Responsibilities
This role involves collaborating with leadership to support the digital transformation strategy within Treasury and Corporate and Investment Banking, defining delivery roadmaps, and leading the implementation of approved strategies across Trading Technology initiatives.
