We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Wealth and Private Banking Operations.
Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Manage the end-to-end Wealth and Private Banking activities
  • Manage all outsourced activities; connect and collaborate with offshore teams and external service providers/vendors to ensure the Service/Performance Level Agreement is consistently met daily
  • Deliver high standard of customer service delivery continuously and ensure that feedback, complaints and enquiries from internal & external customers are promptly responded and resolved
  • Do maximization process of efficiency and effectiveness in the team through simplification, streamlining and/or automation
  • Practice robust Controls and compliances and ensure accuracy in management reporting and to support and roll out all related projects and system enhancements within stipulated timelines
  • Manage operational risk associated with the role and take action to minimize the likelihood of operational risk occurring, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators in a timely fashion
  • Ensure Desk Instruction Manuals are promptly reviewed and updated

Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • To possess relevant experience in Wealth and Private Banking operations and is able to work independently and manage multiple projects and to deliver under tight timeline
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and work under pressure with demanding timelines
  • To be highly motivated with proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mind and conceptual skills is required and have an excellent eye for detail
  • To be an effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability and professionalism
  • To be cognizant on MAS & SFA related regulations is preferred and highly proficient in MS Office

To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.
